A project by Ricardo Rodríguez and Luis F. Pons, realized with help of Tchavdar Todorov
The caravan is placed on a scaffolding next to a building. You can access the caravan from the window of the building’s first floor. This new room can be used as a living room, a sleeping room or a kitchen. This pretends to be a solution to problems such as the high renting costs, speculation or lack of economical habitable spaces.
This work is an ironical commentary. It’s interesting to work with projects that can be difficultly carried out, or are already impossible from the beginning. We are interested in such projects because they confer other lectures to the work. In this case, an absurd urbanite architectonical solution becomes an ironic commentary about the lack of habitable spaces.
